Day 1 Departure Finland
Meeting at Helsinki-Vantaa airport at 15.30. Flight Turkish Airlines Helsinki-Istanbul 19.15 – 22.40. Connecting flight to Johannesburg departs at 01.40.

Day 2 Arrival in Johannesburg (L, I)
Flight lands in Johannesburg at 10.35. On arrival at Johannesburg airport we have a transfer to the hotel. We will enjoy lunch and dinner together.

There is a shuttle from the hotel to Sandton Shopping Centre every hour, otherwise there is time to relax and rest after a long flight.

Day 3 Victoria Falls (I)
Transfer to the airport. Flight to Zimbabwe. Arrival in Zimbabwe at Victoria Falls at approximately 13.25, transfer to meet your transfer. Bags will be taken to storage and we will begin our journey by exploring Victoria Falls. At 16h00 welcome ceremony at Victoria Falls Hotel and at 17h00 train departs. Dinner at 19.30

Day 4 Hwange National Park (A, L, I)
Breakfast at. 05.30- 06.30. Full day safari to Hwange National Park including lunch, train resumes at 18.00.
Dinner at 19.30

Day 5 Matobo National Park (A, I)
Breakfast at. 07.00- 08.30. Full day excursion in Matobo National Park, visit to Cecil Rhodes tomb and Bushman caves.
At 18.00 train continue and dinner at 19.30

Day 6 Giraffe Park (A, I)
Breakfast from 06.00 to 06.45. 07.00 Full day excursion to Giraffe Park, various additional paid excursions available,(lunch not included) journey continues 16.00 return to train and journey continues.
Dinner 19.30

Day 7 Zimbabwe Ruins (A, I)
Breakfast 06.00- 07.45. 08.00 Transfer to Zimbabwe Ruins, Full day tour (lunch not included)
Return to train and continue journey at 18.30.
Dinner at 19.30

Day 8 Train day (A, L, I)
Breakfast from 07.00 to 10.00. Full day on the train and crossing the border to the South African side of the Klaserie.
Lunch at 13.00
Dinner at 19.30

Day 9 Kapama safari reserve (A, L, I)
Breakfast 05.0- 05.30 light breakfast ( continental). 06.00 departure for safari to Kapama safari reserve where it is possible to see the Big Five animals, followed by a visit to the Cheetah and Wild Dog project.
12.00 back to the train, lunch 13.00 and continue your journey.

Day 10 Swaziland (A, I)
Breakfast 07.00 – 08.30. At 09.00 am, visit to Swaziland, glass factory and the towns of Manzini and Mbabane (lunch not included). At 18.00 the journey continues and we cross the border into Mozambique, towards Maputo.
Dinner at 19.30

Day 11 Maputo (A, I)
Breakfast from 07.00 to 08.30. At 9.00 am we leave for a city tour of Maputo (lunch not included). At 15.30 back to the train, continuing to the South African border.

Day 12 Kruger Park (A, I)
Breakfast 06.00 – 08.00. 08.00 Full day safari in Kruger Park (lunch not included). At 18.00 return to the train and continue towards Nelspruit.
Dinner at 19.30

Day 13 Panorama route (A, I)
Breakfast from 07.00 to 08.45. Departure at 9.00 am to explore the Panorama Route. Return to the train at 17.00 and continue towards Pretoria.
Dinner at 19.30

Day 14 Pretoria and Soweto

At 8.30 am arrival at Rovos Rail train station. 09.00 departure for Pretoria and Soweto.
Transfer to Johannesburg airport and return flight to Finland in the evening. Johannesburg- Istanbul at 18.20.

Day 15 Istanbul-Helsinki
The plane lands at Istanbul Ataturk Airport at 05.00. Connecting flight to Helsinki 07.55 – 11.25.
