The normal processing time for a multiple-entry visa is about 2 months, including semi-processing in about 4-6 weeks, and consular processing in 8 working days. The fast-track processing time for a multiple-entry visa is about 2 weeks.

Tourist, group and double visas take 8-10 working days to process at the consulate.

Types of visas, periods of validity

Tourist visa: 2-30 days
Multiple-entry visa: 12 months (stay 90 days in 180 days)
Group visa: 4 nights / 5 days
Double visa: 2 times / 3 months

NOTE!

Visas are always issued on a discretionary and case-by-case basis, based on the application and supporting documents. The visa fee will not be refunded to the applicant following a refusal decision. The passport remains at the embassy for the entire processing.

The visa is affixed to the page of your passport. The visa is valid for a specific period of time, which is indicated on the visa.

When you mail in your application, you should also send us an envelope stating the postal address to which you want your passport returned. You can mail or bring the documents needed for your visa application to us. Please note that registered letters can take up to two weeks to arrive within Finland, which is why we prefer the express mail service.
