Although it lacks the ‘wonders of the world’, cool, modern and functional South Korea has plenty of smaller, fascinating things to see.
The capital, Seoul, has wooden palaces, old residential districts and modern shopping areas. The capital is ideal for those interested in culture and metropolitan life.
The 11-day trip will include a visit to the DMZ (Korean border). From the south, you can see the war boys standing in the north and the tunnels dug by the North Koreans in the south. The DMZ is the most heavily armed border in the world and is just over 50km from Seoul. Along the way you’ll see impressive watchtowers along the roadside.
South Korea is perfect for those interested in beach, city, cultural and nature tourism!
