Day 1 Arrival in Tirana
Arrival at Nënë Tereza International Airport. Transfer and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 2 Tirana – Pogradec – Korça (165 km)
After breakfast, drive to the town of Pogradec, on the shores of Lake Ohrid. The history of the town dates back to the Illyrian tribes. Later, the journey continues to Korça, near the Greek border.

Day 3 Korca – Permet – Gjirokastra (200 km)
After breakfast, drive through the countryside to the mountainous Gjirokastra. On the way, stop in Permet.
In the afternoon arrival in Gjirokastra. Together with Berat, Gjirokastra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose historic 19th century Ottoman architectural centres were inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2005. Gjirokastra is also the birthplace of Albanian communist leader Enver Hoxha.

Day 4 Gjirokastra – Blue Eye – Butrint – Saranda (90 km)
After breakfast at the hotel, walk to Gjirokastra, later drive to Saranda. On the way to Saranda, stop at Blue Eye hot springs. In Butrint, visit one of the most important archaeological sites in the whole Balkans.
At the end of the evening arrival in Saranda with hotel accommodation.
Day 5 Saranda – Porto Palermo – Ardenitsa Monastery – Berat
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Berat of the Thousand Windows. One of Albania’s largest cities, Berat is an incredibly charming place. Berat was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as a rare example of a well-preserved Ottoman city in 2008, when it was listed as an extension of the city of Gjirokastra.
En route, stop at Porto Palermo where there is a visit to the fortress and the ruins of the Ardenitsa Monastery.
Arrival and accommodation in Berat.
Day 6 Berat – Durres- Tirana (130km)
After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Berat. Later return to Tirana, via Durres beach town. Durres is also the main port of Albania and one of the oldest cities in the country. In Tirana there is a city tour. Hotel accommodation in Tirana.
Day 7 Tirana – Kruja – Shkodra – Tirana (225km)
After breakfast at the hotel, full day excursion to Kruja and Shkodra. In Kruja, visit the most famous attraction, the Old Castle of Kruja. Visit to Shkodra which is one of the oldest cities in Albania and the cultural capital, founded before the dawn of time. In the evening return to Tirana, accommodation in hotel.
Day 8 Return home
After breakfast, transfer to the hotel. Return flight home.
