Day 1 Helsinki – St Petersburg (L)
We leave Helsinki 2nd grade at 11.00 to St Petersburg. We arrive in St. Petersburg at 14.27. A local guide will meet us. First we will have lunch, followed by an interesting city tour of St. Petersburg. We will see the interesting sights of the city centre and learn a little about the city and its history.

After the tour, transfer to St Petersburg’s Ladoga station where we travel overnight by train to Kemi. The train departs at 21.21.

Day 2 Kemi-Solovetsk ( monastery harbour)- Monastery tour (L, I)
Kemi is a cultural city with a long tradition of municipal theatre, museums and music education. Breakfast on the train. Afterwards we take a boat trip to Solovetsk Island (approx. 2 h). The Solovetsk Islands are a group of islands in the mouth of the Gulf of Finland in the White Sea in north-western Russia, administratively part of the Primorye district of the Arkhangelsk region. Arrival to the island, transfer to the hotel. Lunch at the hotel. After lunch we will visit the monastery on the island. Dinner at the end of the day. Accommodation in Solovetskaya sloboda hotel.

Day 3 First whale watching hike in the tall trees (A, L, I)
After breakfast we start a whale watching hike in the tall trees (approx. 6 km. direction). Afterwards lunch in the form of a picnic lunch. We will spend about an hour at Beluzi, watching and listening to whales. In the afternoon we return to the hotel for dinner. We will stay at the Solovetskaya Sloboda Hotel.

Day 4 Another whale watching tour by motorboat
After breakfast, we set off on a whale watching tour by motorboat. The time of the whale expeditions depends on the low tide, i.e. the whales only come to the peninsula during low tide, which is moved forward by an hour every day. We stay at the Solovetskaya Sloboda hotel.

Day 5 Solovetsky- Vienan Kemi- Train journey to St Petersburg (A, L, I)
Breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards we go by fishing boat to Rabbit Island to explore the world’s largest yatulin gardens, which are labyrinths thousands of years old. We continue our journey on a tide boat and head towards Viena Kemi. We will be in Kemi at 18.00. Dinner is at the Prichal Hotel. After dinner, transfer by bus to the train station in St. Petersburg.

Day 6 St Petersburg – Helsinki
At 10.10 am the train arrives in St Petersburg at the Ladoga station. Meet your local guide, take the bus to Finljandski railway station. At 15.30 we take the Allegro train to Helsinki. At 18.57 we arrive in Helsinki.
