Ireland, in the middle of the Atlantic, is known not only for its greenery but also for its happy and easy-going people, and the island nation’s horses seem to fit the same mould, being not only remarkably confident but also easy to handle. On arrival in Ireland, we set off for four nights with horse and cart to enjoy the Wicklow countryside in a carefree and unhurried way. This is a unique holiday that offers the opportunity to experience a new culture in a different way, enjoying beautiful scenery all the while. Travellers will drive the wagon themselves, but no previous experience of working with horses is necessary as the local people will teach us everything we need to know. Our caravan is warmly welcomed by the hearty villagers and it is easy to feel at home wherever we move. The locals love every rock and hill of their land, which is reflected in their stories, which they are happy to share with tourists. <\/p>\n
