Mongolia is the largest and least populated independent landlocked country in the world, where part of the population lives in rural areas in a near subsistence economy.
\nOn this tour, we have a unique opportunity to experience not only Mongolia’s magnificent nature, but also the everyday life of the pastoral people who have preserved their authentic traditional way of life.<\/p>\n

Naturally, we start our exploration of the country from Ulan Bator and its surroundings. The country’s capital is modern and diverse – its contrasts are striking.
\nWe stay in Ulan Bator at the good 4-star Bayangol Hotel. Outside Ulan Bator we stay in a yurt camp; in Khustain Nuruu National Park we stay in an eco-camp. Mongolian yurts can withstand both the harsh frosts and the desert heat. It adapts to both rural and urban environments. Nature has a strong presence in Mongolia, and you can sense the shamanic mystique. <\/p>\n

Welcome to Mongolia: an exciting, rugged and beautiful country with more horses than people. It’s also famous for Genghis Khan, the fierce Mongol leader who Frederik, for example, sang about in his hit song.<\/p>\n<\/div>
