Terms and conditions for e-commerce
1. General conditions
traveller.fi online store is the marketplace of Traveller Oy. These terms and conditions apply to the commercial relationship between traveller.fi online shop and its customers. The services and products provided by the Traveller.fi online shop are also subject to the terms and conditions defined by the service provider in question. Traveller Ltd reserves the right to update these terms and conditions without prior notice. Orders are subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time of ordering, which are available on the traveller.fi website. These terms and conditions apply only to products ordered from our online shop, not to direct sales.
Traveller Oy is not liable for any damage caused by force majeure. Force majeure is considered to be an unforeseeable circumstance or change in circumstances beyond the control of Traveller Ltd. Traveller Ltd is obliged to inform the customer of force majeure without delay.
2. The customer and data protection
The Traveller.fi online shop welcomes all private and business customers. The commercial relationship will be governed by the applicable Finnish and EU legislation on consumer sales, marketing and advertising. The trade agreement between business customers and Traveller Oy’s online store is primarily governed by these terms and conditions and otherwise by the Finnish Trade Act.
When placing an order, the customer is obliged to provide full contact details, which for a consumer customer include at least name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. For business customers, the information required is the name, telephone number and e-mail address of the contact person, as well as the business ID, postal address, telephone number(s) and, where applicable, the billing address.
Customer data is stored in the traveller.fi e-commerce customer register, where the data is used to maintain the customer relationship. Traveller Oy also has the right to process and disclose the data in the register for legitimate purposes (such as direct marketing) in accordance with the Personal Data Act (523/99).
The register description in accordance with the Personal Data Act and the EU Data Protection Regulation is available at Traveller Oy, P.O. Box 9, 00981 Helsinki. The customer may object to the use and processing of his/her data for marketing purposes and check his/her personal data by contacting Traveller Oy’s customer service. 3. Price list
All travel and service prices include VAT. Consular fees for visas are VAT 0%. If there are obvious price errors in the price list, the product will not be sold at a significantly lower price if it can be assumed that the customer understood the error.
Processing time estimates are based on information provided by consulates. Neither Traveller Ltd nor its suppliers are responsible for delays caused by unforeseen changes outside their sphere of influence.
Additional costs may be incurred for the following services:
- Visa filling service from. 50 €/passport
- Copy/print service 1 €/paper
- Correction of an incomplete application 5 €/application
4. Delivery
Traveller Oy’s online shop offers the option of delivery by post, delivery to Helsinki-Vantaa airport or pick-up for visa products.
- Postage 18 € by express mail
- Passport delivery to Helsinki Airport from. 85 €
We aim to process your order within 2 working days of receipt. Processing means contacting the customer to follow up the visa or travel product.
5. Payment
Purchases made through the online shop are paid for in the online shop. The rest of the cost of the trip will be invoiced.
Our payment intermediary is Paytrail Oyj. You can pay with domestic banks and most major credit cards.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
There is a 3% surcharge for Diners Club cards.
There is a 1.5% surcharge for American Express cards.

6. Withdrawal
For trips, the conditions for cancellation are set out in the travel conditions. Orders for visas are binding and cannot be cancelled.
7. Advertising
Complaints will only be dealt with in writing. Free-form complaints can be sent either by e-mail to [email protected] or by letter to Traveller Oy, P.O. Box 9, 00981 Helsinki.
Dispute resolution and jurisdiction: the consumer-customer has the right to submit any dispute arising from this contract to the Consumer Disputes Board(www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before bringing the matter before the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer should contact the Consumer Helpdesk of the Registrar’s Office(www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi). The consumer may bring an action in the district court of Traveller Ltd’s domicile in respect of disputes arising from the contractual debt relationship.
Legal fees are not reimbursed, as the Consumer Advice and Disputes Board offers free assistance in resolving disputes.
8. Additional terms for business customers
Traveller Ltd is not obliged to perform the contract if it encounters force majeure which it cannot reasonably overcome. Traveller Oy’s online shop is not liable to compensate the customer for any damage or costs incurred by the customer in the event of force majeure, and is entitled to terminate the contract.
By placing an order and/or request for quotation, the customer unquestionably accepts the terms and conditions of Traveller Oy’s online shop.
